Yin Yang Yoga is a more dynamic combination of active and passive postures than Yin Yoga and highlights both movement within stillness and stillness within movement - a Yin approach to Yang movement. Yin Yang Yoga together form one of the most wholesome and non-dogmatic approaches to contemporary yoga practices all over the world. This style of Yoga honours the root of hatha – the solar and the lunar, the masculine and the feminine along with action and allowing.
The ‘dance’ of these complementary, interdependent opposites produces a holistic, mindful yoga practice that reduces wear and tear in the tissues, balances strength and integrates flexibility and freedom. The student receives a sustainable way of moving and using the body, balancing the brain and calming the mind for meditation. This approach to yoga practice and teaching helps develop the unity, compassion and consciousness needed to be fully human.

Seleted based on location, price, access to suitable yoga halls, ability to accommodate retreats, yoga teacher trainings and provision of healthy yogic foods.

The trainings offered in an ashram offer intense weeks of ashram living which supports students to strenghthen their own yoga practice through self-discipline and awareness of the nature of mind, body and spirit. They also build a firm foundation from which to teach others intuitively from a place of open hearted confidence.
The Himalayan Yin Teacher Trainings provide a fantastic opportunity to awaken or deepen your yoga practice, meet new friends, connect with existing friends and to be a part of the global yoga community. The best part of all is learning that everything we need is already within us and how the practices can lead us into accessing our gifts and beauty from the inside out. The experience provides a great way to find long lasting happiness, peace and the ability to share the yogic lifestyle with others.
Graduates of the course receive internationally recognized certification by Yoga Alliance. The accommodation is simple, clean, comfortable ashram style accommodation.
